| I just had a most enjoyable morning chatting to a lady, who is most entertaining company… She is the lovely singer / songwriter Susan Bluechild from Dun Laoghaire. I came across Susan purely by accident at the launch of the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, around ten days ago, but by pure co-oincidence I had also added one of her songs to my own myspace page, some weeks before. Susan began singing at the age of 15 when she joined her first band. Her mother and the family are very musical, and Susan loved music from an early age. She moved to London in the Mid nineties, in search of stardom, then after a spell in Los Angeles she returned to London to found her own record label in 1999. She has just recorded a new video of “Rock Star”, due for release in the next two weeks, and one of her songs “ Sunrise “ has been chosen as part of the soundtrack for a new British movie called “ All the children are sleeping” due for release later this year. Her debut album "Non stop to Venus" is available on Itunes, online through the website link and also at Tower records, Virgin Megastore and Golden Discs, all over Ireland. Sunrise" is also featured as one of the "The ten best independent unsigned tracks in the world" on a CD to be released at all SKY Shops at US airports in June. USA only. Susan also reads the tarot, the tea leaves and cards..
